WFNS 2014 Symposium
I am proudly presenting you the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) 2014 Symposium!
This 3rd WFNS Symposium will be held in Lisboa, Portugal, from May 28 to May 30, 2014!
The WFNS Symposium is a “supercourse” where we try to gather most of the world experts on every topic in Neurosurgery for conferences, case presentations, video sessions and productive open discussion.
We will have sessions on tumor, cerebrovascular, trauma, pediatric, functional and spine neurosurgical issues. New technologies will also be discussed, and a session on surgical approaches is being prepared.
In a friendly and informal ambience, the purpose of this meeting is to allow the participants to discuss every area in Neurosurgery with the world top experts on that field. We will keep the lectures short and to the point, allowing plenty of time for discussion.
There will be only one conference room, permitting every participant to attend every lecture. Alternatively, any free time from sessions beyond the participant’s interest can be use to visit our beautiful city.
We will also gather an exhibition area with state of the art neurosurgical technology.
The Symposium will be held in a very central and fashionable part of Lisboa, in walking distance from most of downtown area attractions, and literally in front of the subway station.
The social program includes a welcome reception in a top floor open area with a beautiful view over Lisboa, and a ride along the coast to Estoril, Cascais and Sintra, where the closing dinner will be served.
It is a pleasure and an honor for me to be in charge of this WFNS scientific event.
The WFNS and I are inviting you to be part of the few who will attend this special event – we will only have room for 300 participants.
Please check our website at: http://symposiumwfns2014.com
It will be an honor and a most certain added value for the Symposium if you accept our invitation!
And please talk about our WFNS Symposium with your collaborators, colleagues and residents.
With my best personal regards, hoping to receive you in Lisboa,
João Paulo Farias, MD
President of the WFNS Symposium 2014 Organizing Committee
